Arun Valley trek is less crowded camping trekking in the eastern part of Nepal. Arun valley lies between the Sagarmatha National Park and Makalu Barun National park. The valley is considered as the deepest valley in the world.
Arun valley is the home of many endangered birds, butterflies and animals. More than 650 species of birds and over 800 species of butterflies are found in this valley. Orchids and other flowers along a quiet jungle trail, swirl prayer flags at Shipton La. Besides these, it provides the shelter for the rare and endangered Panda. The flora and fauna in this valley is unique and important one.
The Arun valley trekking offers an incredible opportunity to explore the village life with typical folk dance and songs. Mind blowing music and age old culture of Nepalese hilly region are the highlights for travelers. Likewise, the trekking routes offers dramatic views of landscape and beautiful scenery of mighty Himalayan peaks. One can enjoy the views of Mount Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt.Baruntse, Mt.Lhotse, Mt.Nuptse , Mt. Amadablam, Mt.Thamserku etc in their walking journey. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport (TIA), transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Sightseeing tour in Kathmandu city and prepare for the Arun valley trek.
Day 03: Morning flight from Katmandu (1400m) to Tumlingtar (518m).
Day 04: Trek from Tumlingtar to Chyawabesi (280m). 6 hrs
Day 05: Trek from Chyawabesi to Kothe. 6/7hrs
Day 06: Trek from Kothe to Salpa Phedi (1680m). 5/6hrs
Day 07: Trek from Salpa Phedi to Sanam (2850m) via Guranse (2880m). 5/6hrs
Day 08: Trek from Sanam to Bung. (1900m). 5/6 hrs
Day 09: Trek from Bung to Gaikharka (2300m). 5/6 hrs
Day 10: Trek from Gaikharka to Puiyan (2230m). 6/7 hrs
Day 11: Trek from Puiyan to Phakding (2830m). 5/6hrs
Day 12: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3480m). 5/6hrs
Day 13: Rest day for acclimatization at Namche Bazaar
Day 14: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Phortse village (3890m)
Day 15: Trek from Phortse village to Pheriche (4250m)
Day 16: Trek from Pheriche to Lobuche (4910m)
Day 17: Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (5180m) ,after lunch continue to Everest base camp
(5500m) and overnight at Gorakshep.
Day 18: Trek from Gorakshep early in the morning hike to Kalapathar (5545m) for superb Himalayan views then back to Pheriche.
Day 19: Trek from Pheriche to Tengboche (3890m)
Day 20: Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar
Day 21: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2830m)
Day 22: Early morning flight to Kathmandu.
Day 23: Our representative will drop you to the International Airport (TIA) to assist you for your final departure to your destination or alternatively the next destination.
