To access to Langtang, Gosainkunda and Helambu, Sundarijal is one the most convenient starting points and is an hour’s drive from Kathmandu. Other road 5 hours drives away at Melamchi pul. To reach Langtang the choice is limited as it’s a drive to Dhunche in Rasuwa district. The road continues to Syabrubesi from where also Langtang treks can start. Hindu pilgrimage site and popular trekking place Gosainkunda can be reached from either of the two routes. For good accommodation, there are hotels, lodges but still tented camping trip can also be organized. Gosainkunda is a pilgrimage spot where during full moon festival in August, hundreds of pilgrims flow. Across the Lauribinayak Pass towards the Helambu valley we pass through numerous picturesque Sherpa villages. In total, it is a truly magical and spiritual journey. The way via Rasuwa is earlier bus leave regularly from Balaju Bus Park.
