Millennium Trek Tour is combo package of village tour and trekking in western Nepal. The trek starts after 4 hours drive from Pokhara at Kolma and takes you to the culturally rich village area of Syangja district.
On the first day of New Millennium 2000, a new initiation has been introduced based on the village tourism and given the name Millennium trek. The trekking/tour destination is ethnically diverse and culturally rich. You will get chance to stay as a family member during your trekking.
Each day on your trip, you will enjoy the cultural program which is organized in every stopover by the local communities. The locally produced organic food is another specialty during trekking. The visitors are distributed in different households in rotation basis. They are regarded as family and are free to join in any household activities like cooking, weaving, farming; cattle herding etc. the visitors are welcomed at a community hall with a glass of welcome drink, garland and local musical band.
Our one week Millennium trekking package provides you the great opportunity to taste the real lifestyle and culture of Nepal. You will enjoy with local food, culture and beautiful landscape.

Cost Exclude
- Nepal Visa fee (bring accurate USD cash and two passport photographs)
- International airfare to and from Kathmandu
- Excess baggage charges (if you have more than 20 kg luggage, cargo charge is around $1.5 per kg)
- Extra night accommodation in Kathmandu because of early arrival, late departure, early return from mountain (due to any reason) than the scheduled itinerary
- Altitude chamber (PAC) or oxygen
- Lunch and evening meals in Kathmandu(and also in the case of early return from mountain than the scheduled itinerary)
- Travel and rescue insurance
- Personal expenses (phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, extra porters, bottled or boiled water, shower, heater, etc.)

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will transfer to hotel by private car
Day 2: Sightseeing of Kathmandu city, visit Pashupatinath temple, Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu durbar square, overnight stay at hotel
Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, takes about 6/7 hours, sightseeing around, overnight stay at hotel in Pokhara
Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Kolma takes about 3 hours, explore around and enjoy the cultural show in the evening. Stay with a local family, eat local food and explore local culture
Day 5: Early in the morning, hike to Kolmakot for sunrise with mountain views. Visit villages around and trek to Millennium cave and overnight stay with local family in Gharedi village.
Day 6: After breakfast trek to Piuridobhan and drive to Pokhara, free time sightseeing around, boating in Phewa Lake and shopping. Overnight stay at hotel in Pokhara
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu, takes about 7 hours. Free time enjoy with shopping. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 8: Drive to airport for final departure
