Bhote Koshi River rafting is one of the idyllic and most adventurous white water rafting in Nepal. The Bhote Koshi River that originates from the high Tibetan Himalaya is a major branch of Sun Koshi River which further merges into the Holy River Ganga in India.

Bhote Koshi River rafting which is also one of the best wild and scenic white water rafting is thrilling too. Bhote Koshi River offers the thrilling class IV-V rapids and also relaxing class III rapids.

This Bhote Koshi river rafting starts from the Baseri, 95 km away from the Kathmandu valley. It takes 4 hour of continuous drive from Kathmandu towards the North-East of Kathmandu. After attending the orientation meeting early in the morning we start our trip from Baseri.

As we start rafting, the river gets steeper and narrower making the trip most adventurous one. Bhote Koshi River rafting is a relaxing float at the beginning and as we move we pass through the pristine forests, Sun baked beaches, abundant beautiful scenery and get an opportunity to see many wild animals and birds. You also get an opportunity to take photographs of the most untouched and wilderness zones of the country.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu International Airport

You will arrive in Kathmandu via Tribhuvan International Airport. Visit our office and complete the formalities and paper works for your Nepal visit. Hotel transfer and rest. You can enjoy the evening time on your own. Hotel overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Dolalghat

We drive from Kathmandu to Khadichaur where we stop for lunch. We provide you all the important details concerning the trip before rafting. After that we get fully equipped with the appropriate gears. We start rafting trip with an expert rafter guide. As we start we head towards the Dolalghat paddling along the rumbling River. On reaching Dolalghat, we stop rafting, in Dolalghat we can see terraced fields and traditional Nepali houses scattered on the emerald hills. Camping overnight in Dolalghat.

Day 03: Raft up to Kolpa

Early in the morning we get ready with the gears and leaving the Dolalghat back we head towards the Kolpa. Today is the day of absolute thrills and adrenaline rush in you as the challenging rapids splash against our face revitalizing our spirit. After an hour of raft through the mysterious wild lands and steep canyon we reach the Kolpa where we stop our trip for today.

Day 04: Raft up to Dumja

Today early in the morning we get ready with the gears and depart from Kolpa. We move through the narrow canyon viewing the spectacular scenery along with the thrilling rapids. As we reach Dumja we finally stop our trip there or can join some trips for the exploration of the wilderness or ethno cultural life of the rural people. And finally we return back to Kathmandu.

Day 05: Final departure

Farewell and departure day in Kathmandu. You will drive back to Kathmandu to catch up the pre booked flight.
