Bardia National Park situated in the mid far western region
of Nepal is covered by Churia hill range on the north, Karnali River in the
west, Tharu village in south and Babai River cuts throught the middle of the
Park. Bardia National Park is the largest National park of Nepal which covers
about 968 sq. km of area. The park is totally surrounded by forest of sal
trees, savannah and riverine vegetation. Bardai National Park is also
considered as the most picturesque national park with unspoiled wilderness in
Terai Region as it enriched with rich and diverse flora and fauna.
Jungle safari tour in Bardia National park is popular
because the park is home to more than 30 different mammals and more than 350
species of bird. The most commonly found animals in Bardia national Park are
langur, rhesus monkeys, hyenas, wild dogs, deer and bulls. Bardia National Park
also consists of some endangered species like the tiger, rhinoceros, wild
elephant and the dolphin in the river waters. Bardia National Park is also
known as the bird watchers paradise as it consists of cormorants, egret,
storks, geese and many more endangered species. We can roam around the jungle
by walking, elephant ride or by jeep. Take a jeep is the most convenient way as
we can travel large distance in short time frame.
Day 01: Arrive Bardiya Lodge.
On your arrival at Nepalgunj Airport or Bus Stand our staff
will receive you. You will then be transferred to our Lodge where you will be
offered refreshment and be given a briefing on our lodge and its
facilities.
15:00: Village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will learn more
about the life and life style of the Tharus.
20:00: Dinner
Day 02: Full day Activities; Elephant ride to
National Park, Breeding Center, Cultural Museum, Jungle Walk
06:00: Wakeup call
06:15: Breakfast
07:00: Elephant ride (for an hour), an excellent opportunity to get the
lifetime experience on the elephant back and to see the wildlife of the Park.
Visit to visitor Center, Crocodile Breeding Center and Tharu Cultural Museum.
13:00: Lunch
15:00: Jungle Walk. An excellent opportunity to see the wild animals, small
mammals, birds and waits in the tower (Machan) to have the wild sightseeing,
accompanied by our experienced naturalists and wild life tracker. Excellent
photographic opportunities are plentiful.
20:00: Dinner
Day 03: Full day Activities; Tiger Tracking, Bird
watching, Jeep Safari inside National Park.
06:00: Wakeup call
06:15: Breakfast
07:30: Tiger tracking and Bird Watching. An excellent opportunity to see a
Royal Bengal tiger and a great many species of birds found in Bardia.
13:00: Lunch
14:30: Jeep Drive. An excellent opportunity to see wild animals and you will
also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Bardia their home.
20:00: Dinner
Day 04: River excursion for Dolphin sightseeing
and Departure from Bardia
