During the dashain festival, all the government and private offices remain closed for 5 days. Durga Bhawani, the goddess of power is worship in this festival. This is the festival of Hindus, even though all religious communities celebrate this festival and it is the festival of peace, prosperous and harmony.

29 Sept 2017: Drive from Kathmandu to Dhading Gajuri village, home-stay at village. Today celebrate the "Asthami" with locals
30 Sept : Celebrate Bijaya Dashami and put Tika on forehead and receive blessings from the elders. Enjoy full day with local people, play ping (swing) and sightseeing around the village. Stay at home
01 Oct 2017 : Drive back to Kathmandu or continue to Pokhara for more celebration
