The Trishuli is Nepal's most popular rafting river, impressive gorges, exciting rapids, some easier sections, and easily accessible from Kathmandu and Pokhara. The Trishuli white water trip exciting, fun and safe for all age groups.

Our 2-day trips will overnight at Trishuli River Retreat our private camp with comfortable safari-tented accommodation set in private grounds with river views surrounded by forests. Recommended for intermediate Kayakers. The Trishuli raft trip can be easily combined with a trek out of Pokhara and/or a visit to Royal Chitwan National Park.

Itinerary
 

We meet early for breakfast before catching our chartered bus 2.5 hrs out to the Sun Koshi.At Dolalghat, our put in point we load raft and have lunch. Your first day on the river is preety relaxed with beautiful canyons waterfalls, bat caves and Shiva temples to look at.

The Sun Koshi is considered a big volume river, which means b;ig white water! On your first white water day your guide will give you a safety talk and introduce you to the how and what’s of white water rafting. Then for the next 5 days you will tackle rapids from class 3 to 5! Rapids with names like Hakapur, Meat Grinder, Jaws and jungle Corridor! You will be wet and tired by the end of every day but you won’t be left wanting.

The campsite is all big beautiful white sand beaches. Perfect for our camps, kitchens, and beach Volleyball. In the evening you can learn some Kayaking, from one of the guides or just kick bask and relax. The food on our trips is hot. A lot and we cater to all kinds of tastes!

Our last days we will see the confluences of the Tamur and Arun rivers. We will also pass by one of the biggest Hindu temples in southern Nepal called Baraha Chatara. By afternoon we will have reached Chatara, our take out point. Here we unload boats and load the bus, we will stop for lunch in the town before heading out on our 15 hour road trip back to Kathmandu. We arrive early dawn the next morning just in time for breakfast and bed! If the bus doesn’t appeal to you a 45 minutes air flight from near by Biratnagar can be arranged.
