The Seti is an excellent two day trip in isolated area along the warm Himalaya white water with beautiful jungle and plenty easy rapids. This is an excellent trip for learner or intermediate kayakers and family trip.

The short Seti River makes for an ideal introducing to rafting. This trip offers beautiful mountain views of the Annapurna South, Fish-tail and Lamjung Himal. River Seti (Grede 3-5) can be reached from Damauli roughly 160 kilometers west of Kathmandu. Rafters encounter several rapids before reaching Trishuli River. Hindu religious site Devghat marks the confluence of Kali Gandaki and Trushuli and becomes River Narayani. Itinerary

Early in the morning at 6:30 am we drive to Damauli to start our rafting adventure. It is a 2 hour drive from Pokhara and 4 hours from Kathmandu. Once at the put in we pump rafts and have out safety talk about how to raft and what to do in case of emergencies. We start on the Madhi Khola which after a few minutes joins in to the Seti . Seti means “White Water” if you will come you will see why! It’s all class 2-3 white water so exciting but not terrifyingj for those first timers. We raft about 4-5 hours and will make camp at Saranghat. Here you can check out the village or just relax after the day. Dinner around 8 and then It’s to bed for the next day is just as fun!

After breakfast we load up the rafts and head in to our last day. More class 2-3 rapids to get you wet and make your heart beat harder. The Seti runs in to the Trishuli river and we take out at Gaighat here we will have lunch. From here you can head to Chitwan National Park, Pokhara or Kathmandu buses are plenty and easy to fine.
