For Langtang Gosainkunda trek combines the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang with the holy high mountain lakes at Gosainkunda. The major highlights of trek are amazing views of 10 peaks over 6000m, spectacular views of the ice fluted Gyanghempo, visit the pilgrims lake Gosainkunda and crossing the Lauri Binayak pass to 4610m. The places covered by Langtang Gosainkunda trek are Kathmandu, Dhunche, Langtang village, Kyanjin Gompa, Chorkari peak, Gosainkunda Lake, Lauribinayak pass, Tharepats, Chisopani and Sundarijal. This Langtang Gosainkunda trek is suitable for any walker looking for something a little more challenging and energetic. For trekking here, you don’t need any previous mountaineering experience. So, Langtang Gosainkunda trek will help to explore the less visited places even if you are not used for trekking before.

We start our trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel and then we reach to Kyanjin Gompa where you can visit monastery, cheese factory and Sherpa village. The holy lake Gosainkunda is sacred among both Hindus and Buddist. This lake is visited every year by 1000 of visitors during the full moon night August. Langtang valley is the beautiful valley in the world.

Langtang Gosainkunda trek becomes beautiful walk through Rhododendron and pine trees where you can encounter honey hunter animal, langur monkey and waterfalls. On the way, you will pass through Lauribinayak. From here you will have fantastic view of Langtang region. Though easily accessible, from Kathmandu, it remains relatively unspoiled and less developed trekking in Nepal. You will feel yourself lucky to meet the Sherpa who behaves like our own relatives. After you finished your trekking in Langtang and Gosainkunda, you can drive back to Kathmandu announcing the end of the trip.

Langtang Gosainkunda Trek is suitable for a little more challenging and energetic journey where the tourists have less visited but various funs. The best season for you to visit is February to June and September to early December.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu international Airport then transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu city sightseeing and preparation for next day trek.

Day 03:  Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (2541m) 8hrs by bus.

Day 04:  Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2470m) 5-6 hrs.

Day 05:  Lama Hotel to  Langtang village(3430m) 5- 6 hrs.

Day 06:  Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa(3870m) 4-5 hrs.

Day 07:  Kyanjin Gompa, explore day.

Day 08:  Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel, 5-6 hrs.

Day 09:  Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2260m) 5-6 hrs.

Day 10:  Thulo Syabru to Shin gomba (3330m) 4-5 hrs.

Day 11:  Shin gomba to Gosainkunda (4460m) 5-6 hrs.

Day 12:  Gosainkunda to Gopte (3430m) 6-7 hrs.

Day 13:  Gopte to Malemchigaon ( 2650m) 6-7 hrs.

Day 14:  Malemchigaon to Tarke Gyang (2743m) 5-6 hrs.

Day 15:  Tarke Gyang to Sermathang ( 2621m)3-4 hrs.

Day 16:  Sermathang to Melamchi Puul Bazaar (846m)3-4 hrs then drive to Kathmandu 2 hr bus.
