The Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve Camp taken off from Biratnagar flight from Biratnagar airport, you can drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp. As this place is famous for bird watching, you can see Bengal Florican and flamboy ant sarus cranes. Around 300 species of birds are preserved here. It is also home to wild boar, jackals, pythons and crocodiles. To see many varieties of birds and animals sitting along the river at Koshi Tappu reserve the best time will be at dusk and dawn. Also the best place to watch the bird species is the Barrage, downstream of the river. You can explore the forest of Koshi Tappu safari riding on elephant back. You can visit the hattisar where elephant breed regularly and it is one of few such facilities in Asia.
