Ghandruk Trek is most celebrated trekking in Annapurna region. Ghandruk trekking takes you to the beautiful settlement Ghandruk to the northwest of Pokhara. Ghandruk is the village of Gurungs, the ethnic community and renowned as brave Gorkha Soldiers.

The famous settlement Ghandruk is situated at an altitude of 2012 meters above sea level. The spectacular mountain views from Ghandruk are mind blowing. The trail passes through rhododendron forest and fascinating traditional Gurung villages and from here we can have a nice opportunity to witness the culture and tradition of Nepalese countryside.

Ghandruk village trekking provides the best opportunity to learn and experience the typical Gurung culture as well as enjoy with the beautiful landscape and mountain sceneries. The wonderful close up views of Machhapuchhere, Annapurna and Gangapurna gives deep memories for lifetime.  The best time for Ghandruk trek is early March to late May in spring season and late September to early December in autumn. However, it is well developed route and easy walking, so during the whole year it is possible to trek.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport, over representative will meet you and transfer you to hotel, overnight stay at hotel

Day 02: Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Visit Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, overnight stay at hotel

Day 03:  Drive or fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu which takes about 6 hours by driving and 30 minutes by flight. Overnight stay at hotel in Pokhara

Day 04: After having breakfast, you be drive to Nayapul and start trekking to Ghandruk (1940), overnight stay at lodge at Ghandruk

Day 05: Trek back to Nayapul from Ghandruk village and drive to Pokhara, stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara

Day 06: Drive or fly back to Kathmandu from Pokhara

Day 07: Transfer you to airport for final departure to your destination
