The Chitwan National Park lies in the Terai region of Southern Nepal and is reputed to be one of the best managed national parks in Asia . It covers an area of 1162 square kilometers of sub-tropical forest comprising grass land, Sal and riverine forest.
This 2 night 3 days program visitors can have a Elephant back Safari in the grasslands and riverine forest to see a one horned rhinoceros, different types of mammals, birds and deers. You will have a opportunity to see a Gharials and crocodile through a typical hand made dugout canoe. You can enjoy a natural walk in the jungle with our expert naturalists Birds lovers will have a wonderful opportunity to see many species of birds in the early morning through bird watching. After dinner our cultural programme will give you a chance to dance with the native people. |

Day 1: |
Arrive, meet and transfer via boat across the Narayani river to Island Jungle Resort. On reaching resort, our guest relations officer will brief guest.
- 1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
- 3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride.
- 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.

Day 2: |
- 5:30 a.m.: Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.
- 6:00 a.m.: Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk.
- 8:00 a.m.: Breakfast.
- 9:30 a.m.: Crocodile walk. A 45 minutes walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River . Board boats to observe crocodiles along the bands while floating back to the camp.
- 1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
- 3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari /Jungle Walk / Visit Observation Tower / Nature Walk with Boat Ride.
- 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.

Day 3: |
- 5:30 am – wake up call, followed by tea/coffee
- 6:00 am – Bird watching/Elephant safari/jungle walk
- 8:00 am – Breakfast
- 9: 00 am – Final departure.

Optional Activities:
Jungle drive 4 to 5 hours up to Headquarter kasara, Visit to Crocodile breeding centre to jungle treks on foot.

- Casual and comfortable clothes and shoes for easy movement while on safaris.
Note: The colors of your clothes should blend with the natural surroundings. During the winter season from November to February, sweaters and jackets are necessary in the mornings and evenings. |
